Hello, I noticed the following behaviour: test 1: Preq : DSL max upload : 100 KiloBytes/s , max download : 200 KiloBytes/s (please notice the bytes, these are not 'bits'). emule->limiting connection speed (ul : 50KB, dl : 50kb) results : on the long run (ie a day or so) , the ul caps at 50K, the dl .. never or almost reaches the 50K, and caps at way belows (35K or so , with many dl ...

Hi there, sorry to hear about your trouble in Bug reports... Can you upload a screenshot of the download speed and connection graphs? It also would be so much better if you could adjust the following parameters in Option > Statistics for a better resolution: 'Connections statistics Y-axis scale', 'Active connections ratio'. PS. I have to check this in the code, but I think that if you ...

Hi, Thank you for answering back, here are the pictures : For all tests, UL limit at 50K , capping at 50K ==> OK, max connection: 400, real ul limit : 100K, real dl limit : 200K , client port : not default, not using a proxy , gruk/peerates servers lists, emulepawcio ipfilter applied . Test 1: DL : limited to 150K , capping at around 120K Test 2: DL: unlimited , hitting the 200K...

Why don't you try the tests for at least a couple of hours?. Five minutes is a too short time in eMule to obtain conclusions. Cheers

Oh indeed , i tested for days , and always came to same conclusion, but yet at least the posted tests shows : Transition between T1 and T2 ! if the line was able to download at more than 180K, and if i limited to 150, why didn't emule cap at 150K ? why did it stop at 120 K ? The T1 was running like that for some hours. If you still think that these tests are not sufficiant to come to a ...

QUOTE(Nissenice @ Jul 2 2008, 08:21 PM) I think that if you set the download capacity to a value x , the download limit will automatically be adjusted to 80% of x . I know it's in the code, but I don't remember exactly under what circumstances. About that, if you use Options > Connection > Wizard
