Using emule and there are only 4 servers showing up, what happen to the the whole list?

Dead servers may have been removed.

Refresh your list. I see 8 at the moment although I don't update often. It is possible some of the unreliable ones have since become stable again. It's possible you can end up with less if you use a paranoid level IP Filter, which is unnecessary.
