i've never been "hardcore" bmxer but i used to have a dyno back in the late 80s/early 90s and of course my huffy before that when i was too poor to have a dyno or gt. (pretty sure i bought the dyno stolen which was very assholish but hey, that's what happened in atlanta in the 80s). i too remember hoarding all of the bmx stunt books from the school library and studying the tricks. i think i might cop another...

i used to be into dirt jumping in middle school, havent been into it since, and last week saw some mt dew comp on tv. backflip x-ups and double truck drivers were bangers back then and now people are doing double backs, 1080s, flip whips... i cant believe how much freestyle bmx has progressed in the last decade.
