After months of researching breeds and breeders, getting on a list,waiting for the breeding and whelping, then waiting for pups to be ready, Ihad the chance to pick up my new WPG puppy.His name is Arrow and this is a pic of him at 8 1/2 weeks and weighing inat just under 16 pounds.

Thanks -- I could not be happier with his coat right now. It is certainlyguesswork to predict adult coat in a pup but Arrow appears to have a tightcoat suited for hunting (and better in the heat). And it looks like he'llhave at least somewhat of a fuzzy face. Plus I really like the white flag!

Pups are unbelievably cute.hunter -- it is good to join you and the small group of WPG owners outthere who actually hunt them; seems that all who have well-bred ones aremore than satisfied. So far, I am very pleased. Even if puppyhoodinterferes with sleep as much as a newborn baby . . .

Give himi a little time, and Arrow will be sleeping through the night.Heck, by age five, he may even calm down enough to be in the house. Justjoking...though it did take until about that age for my griffon to "mature"and settle down when inside.
