As you all may know I may be getting a rescue brit. The details are still in the planning stage and I have some concerns, maybe I can get some help here. Mike, You have to go with your gut. None of us know the "issues" or your situation there. Will the "issues" transfer to your dogs? They will be effected by any presence of course. But with solid focus your dogs will remain who they are. The dog can be slowly introduced to the sound of gunfire. Plus, it sounds like this dog was born to hunt and had instincts that will kick-in ...

We all love dogs and want to help and "do the right thing." But we can't rescue all the dogs. Go with your gut, no one will hold it against you if you decide against it.
