Ive been subscribing to amazing for half a year because i wanted to see him in civil war and i planned to dump it after civil war was over. Now i think ill keep it to see how bad they mess him up

Okay, Spider-Man is my favourite character, I have read him for a looong time. And I say Spider-Man isn't being ruined at all. Bad stories happen. They happen all the time- 'The Other' is an example, 'Sins Past' is another. But they have ALWAYS happened. Remember when the Green Goblin turned out to be Norman Osborn WAAAAY back? Guess what; that wasn't a classic moment, it was a horrible moment ...

Oh please, how can JMS be changed for every single Spider-Man change? It wasn't JMS who wanted him to unmask originally! (And I for one liked the unmasking. I'm tired of reading the same old stories.) I pointed out some of the dumbest things he has done, then pointed out that even at his worst JMS is better than Mackie and some of the others.

The marriage is getting broken up before Civil War is over. MJ is with Stark behind Peters back. Ill bet thats what starts the Iron Man/Spiderman fight and breaks up the marriage. Im just not a fan of JMS at all so i hope we eventually get a new writer.

You know what's interesting? All the way Joe Quesada has progressed Spider-man recently, (the revealed identity, Iron Spider, full-time Avenger, new status quo), and yet he wants to reverse this one aspect of the character. Why, I wonder? He's currently pushing Spider-Man to new areas beyond the traditional status quo. (I understand why this pisses some fans off, although I don't think it should...
