These speakers are available from Superfi at £249.95. See here Most other sellers are offering them at around £400 - £500. Anyone got any experience of these, or is there something better for the same dosh?

They are suppose to be Five Star rated, though who gave them that 5 star rating is unclear. I did find a couple of discussion threads at 'What HiFi'. Wharfedale EVO2 30s - Whatever what hifi! http://whathifi.co.uk/forums/p/5271/29669.aspx#296 69 The implication of this first one is the "What HiFi?" had reviewed the EVO2-30's, but I searched and couldn't find it. Thanks Steve for the info and links. The price does seem very good but as you've found, info seems very sketchy, as if these speakers are not "main line" like the diamond series. The prices on your side of the pond seem ridiculous for a change. It's usually the Brits who get ripped off compared to your prices. I think I'll try to audition them.

Well after doing a bit more research, I decided to dive in and order them from Superfi. I'll report back when I've got them and I've tested them. I've got some Kef 104ab Reference Series speakers which are about 25 years old, which I love. Should be interesting to see how they compare.

Yes, thanks Steve. I did phone a couple of local Superfi stores and they checked to see if any of the stores within 60 miles of my location had any that they could demo. They told me that no stores had any on display and only one store had a single pair in stock. The one guy said that he'd had 5 inquiries that morning and sold 3 pairs over the phone. As no one else is anywhere near their price I...
