Is there a reason why you think it's not true? edit: so what if the majority are women? There are more women in the world. Anyway, it's a plain observation; he's not condemning women for being women. You could take this hadith as a blessing in that it warns the women to be wary not to go to hell.

yes its true and I believe in it a hadith agreed upon (narrated by bukhari and muslim) is more authentic than the (fabricated) shia hadith

Yes it is true and very well known Hadith. When some one asked Prophet SAW what is the cause of more women in hell. He replied, more women are never content of material things no matter how much they get. Being disconten all the times means they never thank Allah for what their husband can provide them.

Current statistical facts narrate that there are more male rapists and killers in the world than women. These statements are not MADE UP to degrade men, but it's a fact.
