No one can tell how long cause no one knows the right algorithm of google. Building back links to related and quality sites is the key in having high PR.

Hi, I don't agree with Asero its not all about luck. But you have to use your all SEO experience. You have to apply all the rules of SEO and then you have to wait for PR updates you will definitely get good page rank from google.

Yeah I totally agree with that That you should apply SEO experience. . Then if your site will be visited by many people thenyour page rank will go up. .

Its not luck Asero, you have to do continous work till 4 to 6 months to take your site to a level, article submissions,directory submissions and meta tags are the key frames of ranking higher your site.
