Just saw this one for "SOMETHING IS OUT THERE" (1977) http://youtube.com/watch?v=uJ5nY73rsfk It looked really interesting until I found out it was an alternate title for DAY OF THE ANIMALS (which makes sense since its a Film Ventures release and features music from BEYOND THE DOOR). -------------------- "I just spent all morning watching a VH1 special on Gwen Stefani...

"Something so terrifying that you've only seen it in your nightmares... Rated PG." Sigh. I wish they made trailers like that still. I'm tired of seeing the entire movie condensed into a two-minute spot. Including the ending.

The vintage trailer for PRIVATE PARTS (1972) is an early example of a trailer that not only condenses the entire film, but reveals some of the climactic surprises to boot. Avoid it, if you haven't yet seen that excellent Paul Bartel film.

1980s but I like this trailer for CURTAINS which makes the film seem so much better than it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoxhyBpQP-8 -------------------- "I just spent all morning watching a VH1 special on Gwen Stefani.
