I hated that book but so far your essay sounds really good.

Hm...it's good, but try to get inspired about it. It's just like you don't care, and it kind of comes across as that.

It's a little repetitive, and you should proof it for grammar, but it's good

Word the last sentence differently. Don't tell people "what follow is my exposition" because they already know this piece is your evaluation.
