I think Dallas Clark deserves to be above Shockey and maybe even higher. He just knows how to get open.

2-6 are all pretty close. The important part is that there is a pretty big difference between 1 and 2. Gates is able to take the guy who is arguably the best CB in football (Bailey) and run routes and beat him like a drum. Not many TE, even as good as these guys are, can beat a top CB man to man.

Shockey is too high in my opinion because he cannot stay on the field due to injury. TG
