Last night I was talking to the guy who works at the UT and he said Pinnock has a serious knee injury. He said its a mircrofracture of the knee and its the same kind of injury that Van Buren had and ended his career before it started. He said the word going around is that Pinnock might not be ready in Sept or at all this season so the Chargers might reach some sort of injury settlement with ...

Interesting food for thought. If true and Stewart does drop to 27, gonna be hard for AJ not to pick him IMO. Agree that Balmer might be the only other dropper to change that.

I dont see what Pinnocks situation has to do with a HB at all. Pinnock certainly wasnt going to play HB so looking for a big RB imo has nothing to do with Pinnock if they arent planning on using that player at FB, and we arent going to draft a FB in the first round.

random thoughts and questions: Is Kentwan Balmer really a NT?? Was he a one or two gap guy in college? Does he have the frame to add 25-35 more pounds? He seems like a prototype 3-4 DE, that wouldn't be a bad thing because he may be a better player than Igor ( I liked what I saw at the combine) and Castillo has had nagging injuries every year.He would be great as a passing down DT when Jamal ...

I believe it was B.Jue who had microfracture surgery after 05 and missed all of 06. I think that's the reason we signed McCree. I think its a long rehab, which is why I was surprised that Brian Giles made it back in time for the Padres.
