when you slide out the phone a messaging icon miraculously appears on the left

1. with slider open, you can have your Glyde standing on its lower-side (qwerty keyboard side) on a very flat and even surface. Try it 2. this one is only possible if you have two Glydes together. if you hold down the volume button, it will automatically switcch it to volume off mode, instead of having to scroll down to it making noise
