Chamois Butt'r is essentially the same as Assos and it costs half as much. Assos is more popular because it's better marketed. Don't believe the hype.

I find any diaper rash ointment works. You can pick them up at any store too for half the cost of chamois cream. Right now I am using Boudreaux's Butt Paste
