i may have to give up one of my kids because of another dog that i had first. the pup was abandoned with me. he is very hearty and smart, so i was wondering if any orginizations out there interviewed dogs and maybe took them and put them to work. let me know, thanks

Your best bet is to find a breed rescue. Local shelters certainly don't take dog in specifically to find them jobs. Still, any time you are giving up a pet, you can't guarantee what will happen to it.
