Met DH via online dating. In my experience, you get the same results as meeting some guy anywhere else: a lot of jerks, and a few really good ones.

I met DH online too. Like all the pp's said. It's a good idea to meet in person fairly quickly, and you'll find that there are some creeps out there, but there are also some great guys.

I'll chime in here with the other ladies.. I met my fiance online through an online game and we officially started dating after we met up in person and really hit it off. It's just like any other avenue of dating-- use common sense and good judgement and there isn't anymore risk than dating other ways.
