The Birds is a good movie, but it didn't make me afraid of birds foreverlike Jaws did with sharks. Jaws wins.

I guess I'll be the sole dissenting vote here and say I love The Birds muchmore than Jaws. I guess the movie affected me and made more of animpression on me at a young age than Jaws ever did. There are key scenessuch as seeing the birds increasing in number on the telephone wires,trees, wherever they could sit, not to mention that classic gas stationscene. I just can't vote against it.

I'll happily go against the grain here with The Birds...a classic Hitchcockfilm. Both are great films at the end of the day, but I guess I'll explainmy choice this way: Having seen both of these films for the first timeunder 10-years old, I'm still not a fan of being around bigger birds likecrows and such, while I've never been afraid to go swimming in the ocean
