Now "She" is one piece of work. Did they give you a reason for the wait time, keep you updated, anything? I'm curious how much does this puppy weigh?

After waiting several months I contacted Springfield directly rather than messing with the Distributor ... who already had my dollars and didn't really care ....... And was told they were just behind the curve on the demand for the rifle. She's a small click over 9 pounds. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a EOTech holographic sight system for her. What's $400 more in the scheme of things.

The most probabale reason for your delay is the current war effort, and demand, most all request go straight to the sandbox.
