According to hadith(s?) found in Bukhari the Prophet forebade anyone to write anything he said except if it was Quran. After his death (by a considerably long time actually) the people started to make hadith books as the knowledge that the Prophet taught was being lost as more of the sahabah died. Anyway... According to hadith(s?) found in Bukhari the Prophet forebade anyone to write anything he said except if it was Quran. After his death (by a considerably long time actually) the people started to make hadith books as the knowledge that the Prophet taught was being lost as more of the sahabah died. Anyway...
