Greetings! I've been working on a PyS60 project for a while now, but I'm running across a few errors. In this code snippet, I'm trying to make a socket that is externally visible. Thanks! That's the problem however, it does seem as though it should be perfectly fine. Would it possibly make a difference if the phone is running in Offline mode without a SIM card or any sort of network/operator identification?

Hi rmsimpso it will make a difference as you are selecting the access point and i think access point needs network if its in a device. hope i am getting you.
