I had a TAH/BSO last September for cancer. Relatively little pain in hospital and also once I was at home until...I got a horrible cold and cough in late October, and the cough lasted a month, even with taking a codine based medication at night. Bonnie, Do you think you could have any scar tissue/adhesions from the constant coughing? Keep us informed.

Hi Jane - yes, I would think that there could possibly be adhesions/scar tissue that would be causing the pain. Strange tho that none of the three doctors that have checked it out have mentioned that possibility. My oncologist really pressed on the area, then manipulated it, very deeply, between his thumb and finger and did not feel anything, so I guess it is just a matter of taking a long ...
