This is embarrassing but I actually called the paramedics last night. I was sitting on the computer on this site when I felt a hot flush across my chest and pains on the left side. diana, sounds like you got a little peace of mind talking to the paramedic, I'm glad that he was able to help you. HUGS Since surgery I've had more problems with panic attacks, and I worry some about the hot flashes you describe because I'd probably think heart attack because mine usually involve heart racing, sweating, ect. ugh Ruth

Don't ever hesitate to get medical help when you have scary symptoms! You did the right thing, and I am glad that you are OK!

A few days after I cam home from the hospital, I had the same thing happen to me. I have had a history of panic attacks but haven't had one in over a year. I had one that night and I also feel more anxious/ panicky since my surgery. I was told that the trauma to my body from the surgery can really throw your body off.
