Hey thanks Mano. I've been unable to take mine apart, because after removing the screw holding down the PCB there's something still holding the board on, around the vicinity of the battery holder. Any idea what that might be? I love mine, by the way, and am thinking of getting another one as a backup in case this one dies. Youre welcome Fewtch, glad i could help. I saw your question about the pcb removal and answered it on the DIY discman repair thread, also sent you a PM about it but i guess you havent read that, so i will explain here: whats left holding your PCB is the contact coil inside the battery compartment and a little plastic tab which i think you have already found iirc from your post in the DIY repair...
