What is this new warranty issue????? | Thread profile

I have just been having a quick browse over on the PH Forum and there is a HUGE thread on there about how Porsche UK are nearly doubling the price of warranty and making it compulsory to have the 111 point check every year???? Without me spending all afternoon reading the thread could someone in the know please shed some light on this? Cheers

porsche are hiking the price of their warranty to over £1400 and if you are wanting one you have to have owned your vehicle for 90 days so if you buy it privatly and not from opc your screwed if anything goes bang in them first 90 days... basically a wing and a prayer needed..... oct this happens i think, sure more will be along to tell _________________ Porsche Technician , ...

I had a long phone call from Porsceh GB's legal dept asking for my address so they could write to me or take me me to court as i was devaluing the brand and its image for saying on my website there may never be a better time than before october to buy a Porsche and explaing the change in the warranty system _________________ Stirlings The Low Mileage Porsche Specialists www....
