Should we turn Iran into a giant mirror, just get it over with?

My thoughts are you have no idea about Iran, our history of relations with Iran, military tactics, warfare, international relations, global policies, nuclear devices, weather patterns and probably a thousand other things associated with your statement.

The world would become very dangerous (much more than it already is) very quickly if we got the idea that we could deal with any country causing trouble just by nuking them. On the other hand, I don't see why we can't do a conventional takeout of Iran's nuke facilities. Worked pretty well when Israel did exactly that with Iraq's fledgeling nuke program in the '80's. Could be complicated ...

Well, when Iran shuts that oil off after a missile strike, we would defintely see the results in about an hour. Sucks being in a catch 22. Plus it would suck even more if we were wrong, could have gotten away with it if we did not attack Iraq.
