Which is why in Europe we have initiatives to reduce domestic energy usage. Turning off lights when you leave a room, not leaving things on standby, wearing a jumper in the winter instead of switching the heating on, just putting up with the heat instead of using air-con... People DO think that we're destroying Earth, though. So humans want to preserve the environment so we can have a stable future and do what - mess it up more? There's no possible way for us to exist on this planet without altering it, especially at the numbers we're at now. I don't really care about whether or not humans exist on the planet in the future, though. I guess I don't get why ...
