We have a had a bedroom skimmed but in one wall there is a small 2cm sq area which was not polished very well. Is a little rough, think the plasterer just missed polishing that bit. How can we repair this?

Once the whole wall is dry and you've given it a mist coat a bit of fine surface filler will resolve it. Then rub down the filled area lightly, mist coad the repaired area and allow to dry. You're now ready for your two coats of paint.

That's very true what Richard said,,,,,, you'll open up a can of worms and see things you would never see in ordinary light..... You will probably even see the areas that you touched up with Easi Fill too. Only do the bits that catch your eye, the rest you will never notice. Roughcaster.
