Better date Jan 5th or Jan 19th 2008? Need advice!! | Thread profile

Johnie - when is the marathon weekend? We are booked 19th Jan to 2nd Feb with a couple of nights in Miami in between.

The marathon is on Sun., Jan 13, 2008. That whole weekend is a mob scene.

We have booked for Jan 19th for five nights, but I am now scared by the threads I have read about crowds for MLK weekend. The only other time I can book is Jan 5th for five nights and am wondering if I should switch. Any advice would be appreciated! caubert

The only large crowds I have read about was for the holidays, Christmas, NE, I think you should be fine with either date.

MLK is not a crowded holiday. I wouldn't change my dates b/c of that. I would avoid the marathon weekend though. OMG is that a nightmare.
