I just bought a house and it has a crafstman garage door opener on it. The nice thing is that outisde there is a pannel with a code to open the door.. the bad thing is that I don't have the code and the precious owner claim he doesn't know it. Is there any way to tetrive or change the code on these? Thanks for the info Ernie

Try 1 2 3 4 That is standard preprogrammed code for it. Most people never change them. Otherwise you may need to find owner manual for that particular model and reset it. V
