Mice chewing the power cable...... It's out there, but worth a look [quote: iampakman referring to top fuel dragsters] ...the ground shakes, eardrums squirt blood, and God himself smiles down upon us silly humans. I put a microwave burrito (wrapped in tinfoil) on my mani to heat it up. Ended up going to Hooters instead. Came out 1 1/2 hours later, nice and warm, cheese was all gooey.

There is a TSB out for this. I just had it done to my Nav. While loosing the presets (XM in my case) didn't happen very often, it was maddening when it did. I don't have the TSB here at work, but you should be able to search for it here. The TSB also gets rid of the ACCEPT screen when the Nav starts and the seemingly constant RETRIEVING SAT INFORMATION pop-ups. Judson West Los Angeles, CA

This happened to mule too (xm) but when I searched for the station I originally had as the preset it no longer existed. Xm has a habit of moving stations or just canceling them. Maybe thats the reason or like said above "mice" may be the problem. I never lost my presets, but the "refreshing station" messages drove me nuts. I found the TSB on this site. One of the things it fixed was losing presets. Do a quick search. I read the thread less than a month ago.
