I'd venture to say that there are no new secularists in terms of a class or a group. Throughout human history there have been individuals who have been sceptical about the claims about deities, it's just these days we usually don't execute them for saying it so that's probably why you hear more voices raised against the idea of deities. It's safer now....

Secularism has no prophets, and to suggest such is just an attempt to equate belief systems based upon superstition with those that aren't.

Over 200 years ago the founders of America rejected the concept of "Divine Rule" of government establishing that the People and not god are the authority for governments. Those were some of the prophets of secular government and since then people have merely embraced that concept. You cannot have a prophet related to something that is already established, you can only have those that ...
