DH wants a new phone and I've seen a Sony Ericsson Walkman W200i on offer from on hotukdeals; but it's an orange PAYG; he's currently on a T-Mobile contract so I'm wondering how easy it would be for him to use his Sim card in that phone... would it need unlocking and how does that work? Have a read thru this http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/unlock-mob ile-phone I saved it in my favourites a while ago 'cos i was gonna unlock mine, i'm sure it gives info on unlocking yourself for free, I might be wrong though, haven't read it for a while just got the link from my faves.

As far as I know most phones can be unlocked. If you struggle with the websites just take it to your local market or phone shop. If you're doing payg the 02 genie cards are pretty good value for calls and texts and are always on here somewhere. hth

I just got a new moby! sony ericsson w850i on vodafone with free dvd player ok an alba one! also comes with 1gb memory card too for £99.99 on empirestores, i could of used a code to get cheaper but wanted a pay later one, paid to get it unlocked online from someone as well cos i on o2

Just placed my order so hopefully will be able to find someone to unlock it for cheap; thanks for all your advice
