Who ordered dresses online? | Thread profile

I'm seriously thinking about ordering my BM's dresses from www.netbrides.com but how do the girls get measured for their dresses then? Can they do it themselves or go to a seamstress or something? ***MY CRAPTASTIC BIO***

I am in a wedding in Oct and we got our dresses through netbride. We had a great experience and I wish I had done it for my BMs! Does the bridal shop charge for the sizing? How do you tell the bridal shop you are not ordering from them but you want them to measure your girls? ***MY CRAPTASTIC BIO***

hi mom! madison is beautiful!!! i hope she has been a good lil girl and sleeping a lot :) i ordered my bm dresses from pearl's place in new orleans. it was over the phone, not online, lol! i received their dresses a few weeks ago and i could not be more pleased. plus, a store in nj quoted us $280 and pearl's gave it to us for $170. Crack is Whacked!

I actually did mine through RK Bridal's no frills... b/c they beat any quote you get by 5% and I liked the idea of dealing with an actual store that I could physically go to if I had a problem. I got the quote from netbride first, then faxed it along with the RK Bridal form to RK Bridal. My girls all live in different areas and had their measurements done by local seamstresses, dry cleaners...
