It's a screwy situation. People are asking why they shot the kid instead of calling a negotiator. Just a guess but it might have been because it's been reported that he was pointing a gun at them and they told him to put it down and he didn't?

Yeah, because we all have a negotiater in easy calling distance that we can have come to the scene.

In calling distance? Heck I always thought you had a special place on your duty belts for negotiaters. I hope he appeals this though.
