Dont even need to go into teams like the Spurs(Duncan, Parker, Manu, Bowen, and all) or Pistons(4 players one could justify calling all star level and some depth to go along with them). We both know that hype contributues to whatever the general consensus is. Hype is a part of the game. Im not really saying the Celtics arent talented so much as saying a lot of teams to fail were just as talented. And Rivers being a COY doesnt mean that much. It was a 40 or 41 win team people thought would suck. They played hard and suprised some people. Doesnt make him a great coach. when you shut done the most athletic player to ever play the game and the most skilled player to every play the game you be gotta up there with talent.

They played defense, all year, every game. They fought hard all year for the best record in the league and got the home court advantage. Without home court no rings IMO.
