My Top 100 songs of all time. | Thread profile

Now before you trash my list, I have a few things to say. First of all, it is NOT as easy to make this kind of list as you might think....OK, so it probably looks difficult, too, but moreso than you think. Not only do you have to comapre so many songs and rank them to the point where you finally have to say "I can't fiddle with this list anymore", but songs ranging across genre and decade don't ...

Looks pretty good, but I'm just curious: how long did it take you to put this together? Because I've been working on a similar list, and I've been at it for weeks now (top 100 films). Oh, and if you like "In the Court of the Crimson King" (by King Crimson) you'd probably like "In the Wake of Poseidon" which is also by them, but maybe you've heard it.

I have the "In the Wake of the Poseidon" album, but thank you. Perhaps I'll give it another try. Well, I must have started this many months ago, but then again, I seem to only work on it once a week or so. If I had to guess total hours put into this, I would say...10-12 hours. Let it Be is a good one, perhaps I neglected to put it in somewhere... One of their best guitar solos is in that song. And as for Strawberry Fields, I have a version called "Take 1" that I'm just in love with. I coudl show it to you, if you'd like. I've sent it to 3 or 4 Beatle fans so far and they've all been very impressed. Just ask Doomsday.

Yeah i think i had let it be, american woman and stairway as my top three. I wonder what happened to that list? Probably somewhere at my parents place in my old closet or something.

Well, the other two you mentioned shoudl be up there somewhere. Oh yeah, and if anyone likes the songs on my list and sees one their not familiar with, I can vouch for thier quality. Check them out.

For a minute, I thought you were gonna list one at a time in for a long thread list most list threads I've seen on some forums. Nice to see Dogs and my favorite PF instrumental, ACYL, on that list. I won't do one because I'll just end up listing those of my favorites off the top of my head instead. I've never been good at making my own all time lists in an actual order.
