Hooooooly shit. I wasn't expecting much more than a standard summer show tonight out of moe. to be quite honest. Summerfest is sort of a "meh" place to tear it up, given that it's not exactly their typical crowd. (Shit, they introduced themselves about a half dozen times.) ...But they brought the fucking pain, big time. Both sets were fully segued...they never stopped playing except for setbreak...

Laiho is supposed to be a huge prick, tell us if this is true

Dave Matthews Band and Umphree's McGee, last night. Didn't catch much of Umphree's but their guitarist is insane, and they ended with an awesome cover of Black Water. Dave had a really sweet setlist. He played The Last Stop for the second time in three years, and Lover Lay Down > Lie in Our Graves was amazing, as was Grace is Gone with the hoedown jam outro. Encore was horrible though. Overall...

Saw Dragonforce last month and then to Slayer on the 15th.

Emperor is playing in NYC tomorrow night. For $65. Psh.
