I had the oppurtunity to see Joes' "Badfinger" at Hippiefest in Philly last summer. Although they only played briefly, due to the number of bands involved, I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of band Joe had with him. They only did the big hits, mainly Pete Hams' songs, but they were very good. Now, I've got a chance to see him in a small venue (Sellersville Theater) in Bucks County, ...

Can't believe it was nearly three years ago, but I saw Joey's Badfinger in May, 2005. Amazing show. He had a great five piece band that played and sang beautifully. Joey shared vocal duties with other band members. Only performed one solo song ("Vampire Wedding"), though a few of us wished he would play a couple of songs from 'This Way Up'. Joey really got to shine as a guitarist. From ...

I saw him once on a TV show as Badfinger and they were so out of tune and he slurred his words. After reading the Badfinger book, I have no love of this man. I will not repeat the stories but to me he is in his own way a mini me mike love. On top of that he was not a orignal member of Badfinger. He has no moral right to use that name. Boy I had no idea his name would evoke that...

Thanks, Mike and JDeanB for the reviews! I'm really looking forward to the show! That would be very cool to get to meet him afterwards, as well! I've read the Matovina book and spoken to Dan as well. Yes, Dan definitely seems to have issues with Joe, but as far as I can tell, Joe Molland appears to be a good guy. Now, as far as not being an original member, he's been there since " No Dice", and...

Agreed, don't believe everything you read. I've seen Joey at least 7 or 8 times. If he's got the full band with him, he's fantastic. Sometimes he goes out with just a bassist and drummer, and that is less impressive. But regardless, he is always warm and inviting with the fans, and will sign anything you bring. He is a lot of fun to talk to, and is a far cry from the villain that ...

According to official publishing data I have access to, there are two writers credited with writing "Without You" and Molland ain't one of them...publishing is 100% paid to Apple Publishing Ltd. You cannot get more official than that....
