I think the Spinal Tap album cover should have made it to the list. It never really really got released, but the fact of the matter was that it paved the way for bands and record labels to do the unthinkable.

How can you write an entire article about album covers and not mention one word about the designers behind them?

They mention them for the last 5, but yeah... the designers are important.

I am surprised that Nirvana's Nevermind cover from Robert Fisher was not part of the list. There were concerns that Spencer Elden's penis would offend people but Cobain said that he would only hide it with a sticker that said "If this offend you, you probably are a closet pedophile." The album was very real, so was its black cover. And i find it kind of strange to include Metallica's cover, without at least mentioning Tap's, wich gave them the idea.
