Never would I ever have guessed that a movie about a delusional man who orders a sex doll which believes is his girlfriend would have any redeeming qualities whatsoever. It ended up being one of the cleanest and morally uplifting movies I've seen in a while. Go figure. What did people think of this flick?

i felt the same way. i thought it was a very beautiful and sweet movie. i doubt that anyone would act that way around lars in the real world, but it was just a great movie.

I agree. The movie did not cross boundaries and showed love and understanding even though the town didn't really understand. Still, there's no Jesus and it is another hollywood humanist movie. Overall I liked it and found reflections of myself in the main character.
