His comments about how it could easily be a three hour movie makes me hope for shooting everything anyway for an extended version DVD.

While i love the concept of the Watchmen, I personally feel the graphic novel is VERY overrated. The first few chapters are very good and then the story gets lost in itself and the resolution and twist is extremely abrupt and poorly explained, and is barely logical. Maybe the shorter length of the movie will tighten up the storyline.

There's a lot than can be tightened in Watchmen for it to make sense. I will be surprised if they keep it in 1985.

I had been hearing terrible things about the Watchmen script that's been making the rounds, but after 300, I have some faith that Snyder will not let the studio make sweeping changes to the story.
