I don't know. I remember Universal pushed the release of "Serenity" back from April to September a few years ago and released some Nicole Kidman movie instead. "Serenity" should have been one of those summer blockbuster action movies but they didn't release it until the end of the summer and it didn't do anywhere near as well as everyone had predicted it would. I totally don't get this ...

I don't maybe they didn't want it to come out in oct when all the other horror moives come out, becuase then some might think that it's one of those horror films which it seems like it's not then nov/dec seems like when the serious drama's up for oscar consideration come out, but yeah feb is like the cute date moive season, but maybe that's why their are no other horror films, so it would be...

I just went on the movie's web site and it still says that the movie is coming out on nov. 30.....guess maybe as the date gets closer will find out more.

I can confirm that Pathology has now changed its release date to next February, 2008. The studio just feels it would be more successful at that time so, despite the longer wait, its great the studio is doing everything it can to ensure its success I'll change the date in the opening post now.

It could beacuse right now all the horror movies are coming out, and in February as we said their are more romantic comedies so at least the horror junkies will have something to see. Plus this way it might be looked at as more of a thriller than your typical horror movie that come out during or around oct.
