Big turtle! I'd probably be scared if I ever came across a really big one. Fingers crossed for those turtle eggs. Turtle babies are sweet.

I hope Buddy didn't get his nose or toes to near that turtles mouth!!! I wonder if all the babies will manage to hatch out, with your help, and return to the lake to have babies of their own in time? I look forward to piccies of the babies if they do appear.

I'm going to keep a close eye on that hole. We also found a few diggings in our front yard I'm keeping an eye on. We had some company come in and they seen a painted turtle on the side of the drive laying eggs. I'll be looking out for that one as well.

We have an occasional turtle visitor from the ditch behind our home. I have not seen holes, but the beach near us watched and protects turtles. They are "stars" here on the coast. Hope to see your babies. Gardengater
