Sorry for replying without going through the full procedure, After running WUFix.bat, I restarted windows and proceeded to windows update. Hey, thanks for everything so far I uploaded the ols report up here. When I startup the computer just now, there was a sudden lag in the system. The computer usage is at 100% thereabout, with one svchost.exe using up an apparent 98% of the cpu usage. I have no idea why did this suddenly happen. It is a generic fault. I tried wmplayer and real player but they still drive the cpu usage up to 100%. There is another weird problem going on. A certain svchost.exe i mentioned in the previous time is driving up my cpu usage to 100%. I've attached the screenshot below. Another peculiar problem just occurred.
