Does any one know how to adjust the emergency brake cable on a 2004 CR-V? I looked underneath the vehicle but could not find the adjustment for the cable.

I don't know if it's the same as a 2005, but on the 05, you slide the driver's seat all the way forward and pull the carpet up to expose a plastic "box". Remove the plastic cover and you'll see the single cable coming from the e-brake handle and the two cables coming from the rear wheels, attached together by a bracket of sorts. 1) Remove the return screen from the bracket 2) Get the ...

JB, Thanks I will have to check that out. The 2005 should be the same, I think the 05 and 04 are the same mechanically.
