How to install Moshi Palmguard on Macbook? | Thread profile

I just got a Moshi Palmguard for my Macbook. I first washed the surface with water, and then I peeled the palmguard off the cardboard. I stuck it on, but it doesn't seem to stick. And it doesn't seem to have a backing to pull off. It looks like an adhesive. Can anyone tell me how to install this, based on their own experience? The instructions included are the same as the following...

When I did mine a few months ago, there was a backing to peel off. Look closer.

Yes, in MY case, there was definitely a backing. No water involved. I did get a Moshi ruler, but I didn't use it at all.

there was definitely a backing on mine. wasn't super hard to remove, but was there, look again?
