My trainer who got his black belt under Carlson Sr cancelled class last night, I bet that hit him pretty hard as well. Gotta be hard to have the man who taught you for years to pass away.

Thx.....Good read. He touched many lives in his time....this will be a hard loss for many who knew him personally and for many fans who idolized and looked up to him. Once again........RIP Carlson.

This is such a great loss. Too bad we never had any footage of him as a BJJ and as a Valetudo fighter. Sometimes I still can't believe he's gone. Rest in Peace Carlson.
