hello i have checked mysql in add remove programs its already checked (I selected mysql when i installed red hat 9). Problem: I am getting the following error when I try to run mysql. Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' and i can not mount my usb in red hat 9 ..as its a big probelm for me.... plz do reply .. thnxx
