Obama. Laat night did what it was intended to do, no different than what the Democrats did. That's what conventions are all about, energizing the base. Palin is playing her assigned role (same as Condi Rice) but she will be vetted by the MSM political talk shows and investigative print media. My gut tells me the republican strategy is and has been to keep the race close enough, through media spin and slanted polls, to steal. Who's gonna win? I need to wait and see what happenes in the next couple of weeks before I can make an objective prediction. Right now, though, looking at what appears to be the republican's strategy, I can't imagine how they could seriously win. It depends on a number of factors. 1. Will the Obama camp continue to allow Palin to be compared to Obama, when it's Biden who is the appropriate comparison since they are both vying to be vice president? 2.
